Living Life on the E.D.G.E.S.
From Chris' Heart

It is hard to believe that it is football season again.  Football is an amazing event in Alabama.  People look forward to the game.  They mark it on their calendars.  They plan their lives around each and every game.  When they are at the game, they get as close as they can to the action.  They are excited to be there-cheering their own team and booing the opposing team.  They can't wait to tell you what team they are cheering and tell you all about their team.  People can become downright fanatical about football.

Now think about this for a moment. What if we substituted God for football? We couldn't wait to tell others about God.  We couldn't wait to get to service every Sunday, and sit on the front row as close to the action as we could get.  While we were there, we would be excited and worshipping God.  What if we were downright fanatical about God?

We can be fanatical about football and not care what others think of us.  Let's be a little fanaticl about God and not worry about what others think.

In Christ,
Brother Chris

Quote of the Day

The call of God does what the call of man cannot. It raises the dead.

John Piper
Verse of the Day
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–
9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
